Øivind Blunck is a famous Norwegian comedian, actor and singer. He is best known for his marvelous performances within the Norwegian Theatre, and for playing the eccentric, moped-driving ladies’ man “Fridtjof”. In addition, he has played major roles in musicals like «Les Miserables» and «Cats».
Since the autumn of 2015 Øivind Blunck has had great success with his show “Diva & the Beast”. In his new show “Absolutt Øivind”, which is now on tour around Norway, is a wonderful mix of humor and music which includes his most-popular performances and the most famous characters such as «Reidar» and «Fridtjof», not to mention his amazing Roy Orbison-interpretation, as well as classic duets from musicals as «Spamalot» and «Phantom of the Opera».
The best Norwegian female singer and dancer Christine Guldbrandsen has joined Øivind on his tour. Christine represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song ”Alvedansen”. She has also great experiences in musicals such as ”The Sound of Music” and ”Les Miserables” on The National Theater in Bergen.
Two hours went by quick, offering the audience a delightful blend of humor and musical performances, which will be remembered long after the last curtain has closed.
